Cheryl was the girl of anyone's dreams: smart, dedicated, giving and beautiful, but the one point of contention was her purity. Her boyfirend Jon didn't know how lucky he had it until he heard an erronous rumour that the lady of his life was practically the town whore. He ended up dumping her based on this information and ended up regretting it heavily when he found out the truth--that her heart as well as her body was pure as the driven snow. In the meantime she finally discovered her sexuality and enjoyed it so much that she became a part time professional, at first trying to get the attention of Jon by being nude on the camera and then after becoming an amateur porn star on the web. When Jon finally made an effort to reach out to her, he took her back not fully realizing what had happened during the meantime--that the reason he broke up with her wasn't true then when they broke up, but it is certainly true now.
ARTIST COMMENT:
The character of Cheryl is a little bit based on a number of personal experiences where I put a lot of weight on what people said at the time. When I was 18, I was dating a girl from a different school and heard a horrible thing about her from one of her classmates at a party--she was a complete nerd! Well, I'm no jock for sure, but that one I was able to shake off, as well, nerd or not I was still getting sex. But one time I heard a girlfriend of a friend of mine was a screwing around on him behind his back, and I had to tell him (or at least I felt I had to). That ended up making him be pissed off with me. When he found out that she was screwing around on him himself, he was doubly pissed off with me. Can't win.
The current turn of events for Cheryl is really because I wanted to explore a little how one could deal with a girl with a past easily accessible on the internet. Many girls who show themselves off on internet cameras I don't think really respect and understand the permanence of the internet, and how it can affect your future. Sure, it might be fun to tease and get the attention of a few horny guys online for a while, but the problem is once you're naked online, you're naked online FOREVER, which means anyone can see--whether it be your family, friends at school, future husband, future children. How would I deal with having a girlfriend/wife who has been seen naked by an indeterminate number of people around the world? I don't know.
